Palisades Interstate Park is a National Historic Landmark and one of the best picnic spots; in our humble opinion. It spans 2,500 acres along the Hudson River shorefront. There you will find uplands and cliffs, as well as a stunning picnic area with a view. All the while surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of nature. It’s a beautiful backdrop if you prefer a more remote setting, especially in the spring or fall. Making it ideal for a woodland-inspired birthday or rustic dinner date. Note, however,. that a permit is required for groups of 25 or more!
